Kaitūao | Volunteer
I am capable and willing to Volunteer throughout the Hui
This option is for those who would like to contribute their time, care and energy to help make the hui possible.
Kaitūao may support areas such as welcoming and registrations, manaakitanga, kai service, setting up spaces, guiding participants, cleaning and packing down. You do not need to be experienced—clear guidance will be provided, and we will work with you to find a role that suits your abilities and availability.
As a kaitūao, you will receive:
A confirmed volunteer role or roster
Guidance and support from the organising team
Kai and refreshments while you are volunteering
Access to agreed parts of the hui outside your rostered responsibilities
The opportunity to contribute directly to the kaupapa and manaaki our whānau
Registering as a kaitūao is an expression of interest. The organising team will contact you to confirm your availability, responsibilities, attendance and whether overnight accommodation is required. Please do not select this option as a substitute for a participant ticket unless you are available and willing to volunteer.
